I can't really tell on the island. I feel like I need to see it in person. It almost looks white-washed in the pictures. Maybe it needs another coat and more distressing and a little bit of a gloss finish (not really shiny). I wish I could swing over! (not that I am an expert!)

I think everything looks great Shirline! I love the darker cabinets and it goes so well with your countertops. Can't wait to see it all in person!

WOW...it looks so different. I LOVE dark wood. Always have, always will. Great pick. The door is beautiful. I give it a TEN!!
