TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK!

I first chose to paint the island in my kitchen black....then Jen and I were talking about it....and thought maybe it would look better if we painted it a distressed white (antique)...and since the brick on the fireplace won't match the dark stain...we were thinking of painting it the same color as the island.....I would really appreciate some feed back and ideas.....looking forward to hearing from y'all!
